Speedball Calligraphy Kit Unboxing and Review

I've always been a huge supporter of art and craft kits. I find that it's so convenient to try a new craft when you have everything you need in a box - I feel it eliminates the excuses we make for ourselves of not having all the right supplies etc. It's also a very budget friendly way of trying something new - it gives you all the basic supplies at a good price and you can choose to expand your stash based on how much you enjoyed the kit.

In this episode of Elevenses with MZ, we will unbox and review the Speedball Calligraphy Kit. I got mine online from michaels.com and used a 50% off coupon making the kit under $20.

I've wanted to try calligraphy for a while. I have tried brush lettering before but no calligraphy and this kit came with everything I needed. Without further ado here's the video:

I really loved the quality of this kit and feel like I can do lots of fun things with it if I practice a bit. I also think these pens and nibs will be fun to use on hand painted papers to make some marks etc. I love trying a new art form and then finding ways to use it in my other crafty pursuits.

As promised here are the links to some cool kits that I have on my wish list:

  1. Craftastic Yarn Giraffes Kit

  2. Craftastic The Empower Poster

  3. Craft Crush Felt Succulents

  4. Arnold Grummer's Paper Making Kit

  5. Original Zentangle Kit
