Join me in this fun video class as I take you through all the basics you need to learn to tangle. In as little as 30 minutes every day, you’ll learn all about the glorious art of Zentangle!
I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher and a a true believer in the relaxing quality of the Zentangle art form. Ive always been scared of drawing and shading and thought that it would take me ages to master something that looks as complex as tangled tiles.
I’ll take you through all the principles you need to learn and all the basics you need to know on video in real time. Finally you can also learn to tangle and that too from the comfort of your home. Replay the videos as many times as you want, stop them wherever you want and master the art of Zentangle!
The Altered Books Workshop
If you would like to learn how to alter books and find out what altered book art is, this course is for you. By the end of this course you will be an altered book artist and will be able to use your own ideas and create beautiful books.
In this workshop you will learn how to use any old hardbound book from the thrift store and turn it into a marvellous scrapbook for yourself! You will learn how to prepare the book, different painting techniques that can be used to transform the pages and so much more!
We’ll use everything from paint to bubble wrap, fibers to images cut out from old books and ofcourse we will use a LOT of glue.
This is the perfect project to do when you want to try out some fun new mixed media techniques and want to create a truly unique keepsake. This is a perfect activity for summer months and teen parties too! What are you waiing for? I’ll see you in the videos!

In this class you’ll learn how to make a planner that suits you! That includes what YOU need. So in a way I guess you could say this class will teach you how to make the perfect planner! We will start with the basics and go over the different materials you can use.
We will then go over step-by-step instrcutions via video on how to create your own midori style notebooks and planners. These are the traveller’s notebooks that are all the rage these days and in my opinion make perfect planners.
You will learn how to turn cloth, faux leather and even an old book into Midori style notebooks that you can use as your planners.
But we won’t stop there! The fun will continue with printables for the notebooks inside, creating dashboards and even binding your own notebooks to put in your journals/planners! So let’s begin creating the planner that’s perfect for YOU!
the lettering class
Hand lettering is not very difficult, all you need to do is practice. Start with a little project and then practice it every day in different forms. Colorful and beautifully crafted letters make your art more appealing that makes your journals and art really stand out.
In my quest I have tried several different kinds of lettering. Brush lettering, calligraphy, and whimsical lettering in which I love brush lettering which allows me to play more.
There are very few rules and a lot of color and doodling - this is a super fun and easy-to-learn technique and is perfect for both beginners and advanced artists and crafters. This kind of lettering looks super cool on scrapbook layouts and cards too. If you also love to make your own art journals, decorate your scrapbooks, or cards, lettering is always a must element that adds more fun to your art.
