Making Clusters and Cleaning Up My Desk

It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post or made a video. The truth is that I’ve been planning to do a lot but haven’t been able to do as much as I have wanted. I guess that’s true for a lot of us. We want to and plan to do so much but there are seasons in our lives when what we truly need is rest. And so, I have been spending my days reading, resting, and being grateful for where I am.

Times like these are when I really like to do small fun creative projects that don’t require too much planning or digging into my stash for just the light materials.

These clusters are so much fun to make and are a great project for days when life feels a bit overwhelming, and you just want some quiet time using your hands to create something beautiful while your mind takes a little rest.

My desk was already super messy because of all the prep I’m doing for my upcoming Junk Journal Art School Course – you can sign up here to learn all about it – and I thought making these clusters was a great way to start cleaning up.

The video for the project can be found on my YouTube channel and here are some pictures of the clusters I was able to make in 15 minutes.

I can’t wait to start using them in my journals and even as toppers for cards and tags.

If you give this project a try, I would love to see what you make. Post it on social media and tag me @mzcreates.
